I'm the only poster on bant. It's just me. Using proxies and vpns I've managed to create the impression of a vibrant new online community, complete with a budding culture, unique characters, and nascent memetic dialect. But I can't keep up the charade any longer.

Constantly coming up with new thread ideas, alt-tabbing between windows to reply to myself, furiously churning out OC on ms paint. It's just not worth it. For a while the activity filled the empty space, but in my moments of clarity I'm horrified by what I've become. I perceive, if only intermittently, the stark loneliness that surrounds me, and I worry that if you don't reply to this post your mother will die in her sleep
