You have to eat a species specific diet that humans evolved on. You want to eat mostly animal fats, grass fed, organic and non-GMO. Carbohydrates are fine however you want to avoid grain. 99% of the grain you buy from the store is overly refined and even though it’s a complex carbohydrate, it act as a simple carbs, similar to sugar and causes insulin resistance overtime. This will completely screw up your hormonal balances, and your metabolism. Grain fed meats also cause insulin resistance. They don’t spike your sugar, but they cause insulin reactions and overtime cause insulin resistance. This is what causes metabolic syndrome, obesity, diabetes, arthrosclerosis, and eventually cancer. You need to introduce intermittent fasting into your lifestyle. Try skipping breakfast and go as long as you can before eating breakfast. I promise you you’ll start to lose weight. Get rid of all the flour and bread products unless you’re able to mail your own grain or purchase very coarse grain to make your own bread. Try using only grassfed ghee or single source, cold pressed olive oil or coconut oil for cooking. Only eat grass fed meat. Only eat organic vegetables. Avoid flour, avoid pastas, avoid bread, unless you can source course ground flour. I wouldn’t buy modern flour either, I would go with something like spelt.
