It's not a coincidence that the Protestant movement does g up almost immediately after widespread literacy became a thing. And it is not a coincidence the Catholic Church started wars and caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people to try to prevent scripture from being delivered in a language that the congregants actually understood and could read.
Almost like the Catholic Church has nothing to do with being a Christian because 99% of the practices aren't based in any kind of scripture and are in direct contradiction to the Bible itself. Almost like it's a religion designed to bamboozle 12th century peasants through spectacle and awe with its rituals and idolatry.
