erm... use whatever operating system you feel comfortable with? and caters to your individual neederinos?

Erm... Personally I want a cool OS that doesn't force a Desktop Environment on me because i like window manager and hate the look of both windows and macOS

I fucking hate how linuxshit is a bug farm that is trying super fucking hard to look like windows on one end of the spectrum and mac on the other and I fucking hate instability and insecurity as ALL mainstream linux distrobutions expect you to harden it yourself when instead hardening should be handled by the devs so it is DEFAULT and done right BY DEFAULT and the whole OS audited frequently to look for and immediately patch bugs.

I am SANE and I want a SANE operating system that can both have a very low attack surface area and STABILITY. The fact that my os is so stable means I can go and compile from source programs that I can't normally through package manager AND STILL HAVE ROCK SOLID STABLE OS

debian IS ONLY "STABLE" UNTIL YOU DOWNLOAD SOMETHING THAT DESTABILIZES IT, and debian is supposed to be considered "le stablerino"

the most reliable way they get into systems is by exploiting vulnerabilities and from there they could attack supply chains and or chain together more zeroday vulnerabilities

so I'll admit now that qubes OS may be the most difficult/expensive OS to penetrate. But it is redundant for someone who isn't a person of interest to use it as a daily driver as low skilled criminal hackers, for one usually aren't skilled enough, and two—only attack the lowest hanging fruit, boomers or other idiots who run out of support windows systems >:[
