>>2371412Me neither, to be honest. I just happen to have a smogonfag friend who breeds and levels pokemon nonstop and occasionally takes part in tournaments. He loves talking about competitive stuff so I just learned some concepts. The only reason I mostly use sweepers is because I've got no patience and want combats to be short, for better or worse. It's sad that my playstyle hasn't really changed since I played Blue: using direct damage attacks and seeking type coverage.
Not sure about Umbreon being a good set up, but I could see it working. Anyway, Toxic is almost mandatory for Umbreon, in my opinion.
