>>23724013>I can't be fucked learning all the in jokes and refrences for each general.i barely interact with most of them, when i want to i just act in a respectful way and it works
the differences on, for example, the kigurumi to the jav general are bizarre, your average guy in the kigurumi general seems to be your average 20 year old autistic while in the jav general it seems to be a 60 year old
>yeah this seems to be a reoccuring problem with any general that gets moved to a different board, they always refuse to integrate and just shit up the whole place trying to make it like their home board.the jannies seriously have to either send them back to /v/ or allow they to have their general on /vg/
>japanese culture board i mean it's technically not an one since 2010 or so
when they changed /jp/ to japan/general to otaku culture they wanted people to only talk about niche japanese stuff rather than asking help for random japanese text, the problem is that what's considered niche for some aren't for others
/jp/ in general is a confusing board, most threads could be on other boards when you think about it
one of the reasons moot created /jp/ is because he was tired of ronery and touhou threads on /a/, but he easily could send them to /v/ if he wished to lol (even though touhou is way more than the main games, it can still be considered a game franchise in the end of the day)
vocaloid threads? could be on /mu/
idol threads? most could be on /mu/ tho it's the opposite /mu/ likes
japanese learning threads? /int/ (which has one, ironically)
train threads? /n/
JAV and gravure threads? /s/
ronery threads? they ironically and unfortunately died a long time ago lmao, there's no board for them (i'll never accept /r9k/ as the mental health/hikki board)
well, you got the point, it's hilarious that /jp/ has always been treated as not only /a/ trashbin, but many other boards trashbin as well, it's one of the most interesting boards on this place, its history is amazing
