I mean shootings are really rare, but they're not impossible. So my question really comes down to does that 1 in a million chance make it worth it to wear a bullet proof vest. Probably more than 1 in a million if you live in the hood.

The one in the photo says it goes up to 12 gauge which should be enough to deal with most if not all bullets fired by ghetto bums.

In European's case it's a slash proof vest I suppose.
