It's not misinformation or a misunderstanding, this is active policy they are trying to implement and have made clear they intend to implement.
The only thing stopping them is their own incompetence, as you noted, but their intention and motive is still to silence and oppress you and deny you privacy and freedoms. That alone is enough to be angry about.
They're literally trying to pass a law in your country that will remove the option of jury trials for most crimes.
No they're not going to start punishing sandniggers. They want to expedite the process of eliminating people who threaten and oppose their agenda and it's implementation.
This is no small matter whatsoever.
