Made this recently to test out Dorian mode and some blues scale.

What are your weak point? Figuring that out first and working on that would be the best way to improve. If you suck at openings work on openings. If you suck at tactics work on tactics. Probably be more specific. Like practice certain tactics or idk chess theory stuff.

I play the London system opening in most games. I'm not sure if I should study and use others. One thing I do miss consistently is using pinning to gain pieces. My rank is extremely pitiful, a little less than 600

Pinning is nice but you should learn more tactics so you have more cards to play. You can also sometimes chain them together to create an even more powerful play.
Maybe you should try out chess puzzles.

Yes. I'm trying to explore new grounds and be able to express myself in different ways. Hence dorian and blues.
