Living in a Kyoto tourist area, I face rude language and poor manners from foreign visitors every day.

I live in Europe. Some guy here drew a caricature of an Asian person—you know, with narrow, slanted eyes—so when we drew a caricature of him, we gave him a witchy old woman's nose. He got mad. Some people just don't get it until it happens to them. I think a lot of folks lack imagination in all sorts of ways.
I totally misunderstood Finland as a country.

Why not just break off diplomatic relations with Finland? They're not even worth dealing with.
