The preparation and ingredients and overall balance of the pizza was just perfect at that place in Napoli.
Now, if I consider service and price, Chicago edges ahead, because it's faster and cheaper there. But on taste alone Napoli won.
Is it worth flying to Napoli just to eat at that pizza place? Fuck no.
Is it worth flying to Chicago to eat real deep dish? Not really.
That said, both places have other draws that definitely make them worth visiting: Both places have great museums, and Pompeii is a short train ride from Napoli. Chicago has the Great Lakes and the architecture.
