I wasn't saying knoswal in particular is an issue, although he def has potential to be one. Bro it's been over a year since she got out of the tank and how many of us have met her since then? 5? She's also an event promoter with a financial incentive in inviting people to her events. I went to the vampire thing because I had a week of PTO I needed to burn before the end of the year, knew I wanted to take a vacation, and my options on short notice were: go to Binx's vampire party, or go to NOLA and hang with my stripper ex whose alcoholism is worse than mine. Chose the former and don't regret it and idk maybe I'm off base but I don't think meeting me made her uncomfortable. 95% of the people in the community are chill as fuck and I'm sure she wouldn't have a problem meeting the majority of you that aren't in the dossier for acting like fuckwads in here. Said it before, will say it now, and prolly say it in the future. Just be kind and respectful to her and she'll be kind and respectful to you. The problem stems from when it becomes trouble to deal with. Yeah well binx has kind of locked herself into that one by calling everyone her friend. It fosters that behaviour, behaviour we have seen a few times and will probably see again. Hell, the thought of hopping on a plane to London to hang out with her for a few hours at the brit meetup and then explore London the rest of the time has come into my mind a few times. I wasn't even joking about that. Although that's a terrible look. I'd be on the same level as charlie (no offense chuck) and close to ross (wouldn't be as bad considering he flew down twice in the span of 2 weeks and hung out with her repeatedly but it would still be pretty bad). Also a million things could go wrong. First there's obviously privacy concerns. I don't share much about my life so conversation could be awkward if I was reluctant to share stuff. Also I'd be super afraid of getting embarrassed. If Omly (if in attendance) made a joke at my expense and binx laughed at it, I would probably fucking kill myself over it. I don't take myself too seriously among friends but with her I'm obviously totally different. So yeah, probably not the greatest idea to go. The primary reason I've thought about it is because I see it as another opportunity to show her another part of me that is just regular. Although hopping on a plane to England for the primary reason of meeting her again probably wouldn't convey that kek. My hotel completely fucked me over. I don't travel often so I don't really understand these things and I booked it after I landed. It said on expedia it was $150 a night yeah? I booked it from the 18th through the 20th (or so I thought), and the total was $500. Sounded about right. Fucking NOPE. I thought they upgraded me to the penthouse for free because they were dead. No they upgraded me to the penthouse because it was the only single room. My fucking total bill was almost $700 because they charge you a "resort fee" but don't fucking tell you that til you get there. Also, like I said I thought I booked through the 20th. NOPE. That was my checkout date. Two fucking nights for $700?

I had already grossly underestimated how expensive Miami was going to be, was down to $.79 in my bank account, and had no way to have access to the rest of my money without physically being at my bank because they're a local credit union and don't do online transfers.

I was considering just sleeping on the beach and walking to the airport. Charlie loaned me $300 without me even fucking asking to get a hotel and stuff for the night. He offered $500 but I said that was way too much.

This is the night I went to the hospital by the way. Had Charlie not loaned me that money for a hotel, and I slipped into that hypoglycemic coma while sleeping on the beach, I would have fucking died. Charlie literally saved my life.

That's all well and good and I'm glad he did that for you. But it has no bearing on the conversation at hand. I won't take that away from him or try to downplay how nice that was of him. But regardless of how nice he is and how willing he is to help those that need it, he still pressured Binx into doing something she repeatedly said no to multiple times. She gave her reasons for why she didn't want to do it and they were all valid, and Charlie began guilt tripping her until she flipped. Anybody that was there during the streams he did this on can back up my claim. There's a reason somebody like Reman goes after Charlie. He tends to be possessive over Binx and does things with the sole intention of gaining her admiration even if it contradicts things he has stated before.

Clerks were always cool about drunk people though and they always had a Styrofoam cup on the counter full of loose cigarettes, and if you dropped a quarter in the tip jar you could take one. Ton of shit I had to take care of before I go to the hospital. Mortgage company needs an updated copy of my homeowner's insurance and nationwide is being a fucking twat about forwarding it to them. They do this every fucking year, send it to the wrong fucking address or something. My HOA needed me to fill out updated homeowner forms for the new year to comply with new state regulations. I had to choose a new insurance plan for the new year because my specific plan is being discontinued. Had to do a shit ton of HELOC paperwork to get it associated with my mortgage in online banking. Had to make sure I secured the bag before I went in and was current on all my bills because I don't know how long they'll keep me. Had to figure out who the fuck transferred $470 dollars out of my bank account. Didn't want to not be able to talk to my kid on Christmas and sent my ex $200 to be able to get him something for me since they're 4 hours away. And then just general errands and chores and shit. At the FedEx store atm mailing my mom's old phone back to Verizon so she can save $400 on her new phone. Shit's just overwhelming, especially when you've got to be drunk to be able to do any of it.

I also think people underestimate the power of peer pressure. There have been 5 times in my life I've done drugs. I smoked pot 3 times and did coke twice. Every time I smoked pot was because my friends goaded me into it, and I got sick and threw up every time. I was just talking to my ex the other day about how there's an older goth lady in my scene named Isis. A couple months ago I got pretty drunk and was just planning to sleep in the back seat of my car. Isis took my keys. I'm a fucking retard and I freaked the fuck out about it and told her to fuck off. I didn't show my face at the club for months because I felt so bad about it. The next time I went, I saw her and apologized and she said she wasn't upset at all she was just worried about my safety. That's the kinda vibe I got when I was at the vampire party. It was mostly an old school crowd that just wanted to dance and relive the old days for a minute

I just think the topic is interesting and I find the evidence somewhat believable, at the same time I do think its just as or more likely that any of her extra hyper behavior was a result of some sort of chemical imbalance/mental "issue". At first I thought you were doing it willingly out of your "nothing ever gets better" bend, but now I think we genuinely just misinterpret each other and get frustrated when the other party doesn't seem to pick up what we're laying down, even if the original intent was to be kind.

I'm older than a lot of you, never came to 4chan before I learned about these threads, have had what I presume are vastly different life experiences based on how you guys react to me, and have no skin in the game because I don't really watch the streams and I don't have any romantic interest in her, I just think she's a cool person and if we lived closer we'd have probably been goth club friends. So I think a lot of it is just misalignment of perspectives rather than malice. I don't understand your feelings and you seem to not understand mind.

My whole position in this argument is that someone occasionally doing recreational drugs isn't a big deal, she's clearly not an addict, and why would someone admit to doing drugs unless they're a burned out retard like me? What she does in her private life is her business, not ours, and if you think it's your business you're as delusional as the dudes that think they have a shot with her. If your issue is that you think she's dishonest and you take issue with her character, just watch something else.

I'm sorry, I just find it impossible to reconcile being completely disrespectful to someone's privacy but then be like "but I love you".

Veganism I can write off, it's mostly just a way she can choose to eat less, alongside a little sunk cost because she's been meat free so long. It's still pathetic she willingly ate dairy ice cream because an Asian woman offered her though.

As for straight edge, she's been quick to smoke a cig here or there on shows, and when she's potentially drank alcohol, she's not been too worried. But then again it's never really been about maintaining the streak, it was always her trying to prove that she's a better human than her dad. But she's also got an addictive personality and I think she probably would develop a dependency on a substance if she took one, and that's exactly why it'd be a big deal.
