now years later I dress like that
it's comforting, nostalgic, reminds me of feeling protected. I have chunky rings now too

I catch myself saying "man" at the end of some sentences and have the inclination to step in to protect others even if I get hurt

is it weird to emulate a childhood hero or is this just normal human brain stuff?
