My dad recently got a PS3 to play Rocksmith 2014. I also got him Midway Arcade Origins for Christmas, so he's been playing a lot of Joust.
I was thinking of getting him Gran Turismo 5 for his birthday (on January 12th). I feel as though it might be the nice change of pace as he lives through his 60s... he played some Atari, SNES, and Genesis, and even a little N64, but Joust was always his favourite. Now that he can play Joust any time, I think he might grow fond of his PS3.
My brother is also scheduled to have his first child on June 6th, and I just thought it would be cool if my dad used his PS3 to play Little Big Planet with his grandchild.
