Chinese tech products follow the exact same formula every time:
make a big announcement with a very bold technological claim to get funding from investors
release articles from tech reviewers claiming that this is a revolutionary breakthrough that will compete with *insert highly sought after western product here*....then it turns out all these journalists were Chinese, and therefore had to say good things about a Chinese-made product or else get disappeared by the CCCP
no independant reviews from anyone outside of China
product releases, western reviewers finally get hands-on with the product and test it
it turns out to be a piece of shit, or just sub-par at best
no one buys it and the company that made it slowly vanishes with the CEO someohow still being a millionaire/billionaire going on to do the exact same thing all over again with a new company
