I do want my mother to be around a while longer, but she's probably not going to live too long regardless (massively obese and has given up on doing anything about it a decade ago). Her obesity is putting a strain on my father and their marriage, though she also supports my father and I'm not sure how well he would do without her.
I guess I'd hope for both of them to overcome their respective issues and be around a while longer.
