well it is and it isn't. of course it is depressing to get an objective view of myself. i am a shut-in that nobody loves with nothing that the greater world values, friendships or job or interesting hobbies, who spends hours a day on 4chan spilling his guts and pursuing a crazy woman that doesn't love me. that is a depressing sight. but it's important to cut through the self-delusions that build up while i'm sober. also it feels really good, i had a nice hour or so last night while i was peaking just laying in bed and feeling great physically, letting my mind wander and imagining things. also one of my few joys is magic cards, and i'm understating how much progress i made in that yesterday, and i can't seem to focus on that without pot, so it helps there. it made me feel content on a very difficult day too, like i owned my time, gave me power over my feelings which i have put too much in the hands of women, needing their love for validation. weed cuts two ways, can make you feel special, but has a physical toll, gives you insights but not all of them are comforting and joyful. i handled it fine, and all in all enjoyed my high yesterday.

it will happen when china has missile interceptor technology similar to iron dome type stuff. they currently don't. they could take taiwan, win a limited conflict, but they would have to contain escalation, take very serious losses. they can't win a nuclear war and their ability to second strike is questionable. they could zerg swarm the island, but missiles would be launched at their dams and infrastructure, would be pretty devastating economically, gains would not be worth the cost. they need to be able to protect their coastlines and dams from retaliatory missile strikes and then we will probably concede it without a fight kind of like hong kong.

a year and a half ago, I quit a shit job with a shittier boss, and on the day I quit I got a fire lit in my belly that told me there are ways to make money without having a boss lord over ya. I can see glimpses of that coming true in the next year

its hard to self motivate every day, some days I wake up and think "hey I could just binge an anime series today" but I never do that, in fact I only missed out on 40 out of 260 trading days in 2025, and most of the 40 were because I had a shift and even then I place some limit orders in between pizzas.

its hard to keep grindin when the results dont show up immediately. its even harder to see a ticker you passed over do well, but then most times I see the gains get erased, and I feel better cuz I don't need fleeting gains, I need solid gains, ones that form stairs up to the heavens.

its hard to take futures trading losses, even if they're on the sim. the way I see it if ya hit the golf ball shitty on the range, it won't help ya one bit on the course.

all this shit is hard, it got harder when buffet started to impart all his knowledge, when math bros started to squeeze out every numerical edge. and you know what? so what. they go high, I go low. they get more complex, I get more simple. This shit is just a basic up down number game, with fundamentals directing the up down. And in the case of futures trading your only concern is will this trend continue? and if not, how can I minimize loss? with tickers its a bit more complex but only adding a factor of "can management drive this trend further?" simple as.

gettin eepy, but just wanted to put some motivation out there, if this retard pizza boy can figure this game out, so can you, but ya gotta figure it out ON YO OWN, and with the help of many legends and masters.

well he wasn't so bad in my dream. and we weren't really chilling, but i was in a big auditorium with very luxurious seating and jeffery was present and everyone seemed to really like him and i just figured all these people in my dream can't be wrong and this place is really nice... they even reserved me a great seat in the front row.

some of the major decisions ive made were tied to these episodes. for example, i bought my current house because as i was touring it the first time, i had a feeling that i had lived there for years.

it didnt subside, it was like an itch i couldn’t scratch for a week.

another example was seeing the british red ensign in a book. aka the liberty flag. that sent me for a ride last year. had that feeling and it wouldnt let go. that night dreamed about it and felt like i had been there when it was changed in the future. tried to draw out what i saw in the morning.

i cant tell anyone about this because i dont want to get hospitalized. but i dont think it came from my own imagination. at least it doesnt feel like that, months later.
