>>23828270Seeing the political state of this country and entering in contact with most of our people (e.g. using the metro) makes me pretty stressed and sad. The only way to be happy here is to ignore all the desgrace that fall unto us, and yet it seems that there is no cure for our ugly and dirty streets or for the unpleasent "jeitinho brasileiro" (brazilian way of behaving), the loudness and unpleasent extrovertion and not-caring-for-other-ness that haunt us. Sometimes I met very interesting people though, but I can't get to talk with them.
The average joe here is disgusting and that's why I hate whenever people talk about the "brazilian people" or something like that, but there are many good individuals here that don't cease to impress me. That's why I still like Brazil, or at least the city where I live, to some extent.
