there was a point when he was fleeing where he was doxxed by a vice photographer who forgot to remove the metadata from a photo, he was nearly caught soon afterwards but faked a heart attack, which bought enough time for a lawyer to get some paperwork together & for him to avoid ending up in US custody somehow
