>>23843044There's something to this, but, it really has nothing to do with /pol/.
People that didn't have girlfriends in youth for whatever reason, do have a kind of "outsider" perspective, but getting laid later on still does it.
A lot of dudes got messed up because girlfriends in youth too.
A huge and underdiscussed issue is the immense impact of mixed sex classrooms of same aged groups and how this affects boys. Girls mature differently and faster than boys. They learn and socialise differently. Smart boys furthermore have a longer adolescence because of brain development. Sexual maturity changes behavioural dynamics considerably, girls become a close proximity "other" and more mature boys become bigger stronger and more aggressive and socio-sexual hierarchies become a thing. This turns schools in prisons for a lot of kids. If you notice, bullied kids are often younger and less developed than the kids that bully them, who are usually first to hit growth spurts and sexual maturity, at about the same rate as the girls.
So, very late bloomers, it's probably a nightmare, they have no childhood friends let alone girlfriends.
For late-ish bloomers, they start hitting sexual maturity and interest in girls at a time where they have already been shoved down the pecking order and a lot of girls have been banged by guys that have terrorised them in some way.
Kids that changed school a bunch also get the fun experience of losing whatever friends they had and starting at the bottom of the pecking order.
In terms of grades and student assessment they are also competing against people closer to adulthood and may be in part responsible for the phenomena of girls massively out performing boys and their relative learning disabilities.
Early developers/peakers entering the adult world see the girls they banged outgrow them and leave them behind as they go after adult men who outclass the guys they grew up with become the "i was cool in highschool" guy..
Grim.
