I miss the times when my life felt mystical. I want another shot at everything. But maybe that means that I just haven't learned anything.

naaah i don't think so

i feel the same way often, i think most people do
if you can manage to remember how unpredictable & "mystical" it still is, that will probably help
it used to just BE that way though, i think it's like that for everyone when they're young

I guess I'm just a lot more logical or something, but I have inkling of thoughts like these sometimes, but I extrapolate on them seriously and contemplate externalities. I used to feel this way a lot when I was really young, my feelings were basically a lot stronger and I was able to enjoy the simple things in life a lot more. I mostly just remember watching the sunset and how awe-inspiring and amazing it was, I was also a lot more spontaneous.

But I lost most of these qualities and I became quite different, I would describe it as some type of numbness. Some of it was psychological and some of it was not. But sometimes after working out really intensively I feel really amazing sense of awe and scope of feeling at natural wonders and simple things, like again the sunset. But it is mostly fleeting. But it's still really good for the brain. Also meditating can help alleviate the numbness quite a lot.

I guess I just felt everything so deeply when I was a kid. the world felt a lot more mystical to me as well.

same questions but i also blame the food in america for spiritual blockage as well
once i switched to organics and no sugar/wheat my connection to the vibrations and energy around me came back
even what you're saying about the sunsets used to be true but now i'm awe struck almost every day at how beautiful both sunrise and sunset are
