I recently started having a vision of me sitting in a not fully empty villa with only a table and a gaming PC inside while eating the best food in the world and drinking the best alcoholic beverages. Is this a sign that I should find a job and put my life together?

i don't know if you remember the trend of "Let me guess. You need more?" images, but something always really bothered me about it, and it took a while to put my finger on it
they imply that it's based & spartan to be simple, and to not need many material things, but this point is completely missed by the fact that there's a TV or GAMING SETUP in each of them
a monk or spartan would not have an empty quarters WITH A TV, they would just have an empty quarters

if you need something so stimulating/base/consumptive as a PC/TV, you MAY AS WELL imagine a bunch of awesome/ambitious material things
i think learned people would agree

it's engineered to be as comfortable/desirable as possible to exist in that state

i just wish people would dream their own dreams, as if there weren't so many things playing extreme tug-of-war for their spirits
but i don't know how to really articulate it better, or convince people without just pulling them in another direction

again, whatever sparks/motivates you to work & have ambition, you should hold onto that thing for dear life, don't let anyone stop you
