it's also for this reason that "we" stopped giving a fuck about robots/androids
100 years ago, the psychoanalysts imposed the idea that free will is a joke, and glowies took it from there, making systems out of it until it became cheaper than conventional warfare at scale
but anyway, the subversion of free will & the reduction of humans to robots makes actual robots/androids obsolete, since any robot we could engineer in the foreseeable future would not come CLOSE to the sophistication/versatility of the human body
the etymology of "robot" is something like "forced labor"
