I have to admit, you need a lot of faith to get on board with everything in the Latter Day Saints scripture and heritage but I've always had faith and things that seem unbelievable might be explained in the future. Then there are the rituals done in the temple that I have a little experience with that bring life into the scripture we study. Baptisms for the dead, for example, are a way of honouring the dead in a meaningful way beyond just having a funeral. Helping people discover their ancestors also brings fuller meaning to an individuals life and explores the linage of an individual, bringing insight into what their genes achieved in the world.
