Nope got shafted here too. Mom died and dad kept me around for survivor benefit checks. My grandmother is a blessing. But unfortunately I’m plagued with the knowledge that this too shall pass.

If you mean this in the new age “open your third eye via psychedelics” way I did a bunch of psychs in my early 20s I don’t touch those anymore. I traveled the world before it got completely turned upside down also back when I had money and was single before I got married. Been to every continent besides Australia and Antarctica. Genuinely do not know what I’d try experiencing at this point. Only thing left is child birth and I can’t honestly be bothered to restart trying with women. Maybe I should try being gay? Gay and smoke crack. That seems in line with your advice.

There's plenty in the world you have never done and I struggle to reconcile the fact you call yourself well traveled and worldly while holding the view that you do. If anything, I would figure that these experiences would have told you just the opposite of that. Touching your feet on the ground in a different geographic location is meaningless frankly. It's experiencing the world that has meaning. And I can promise you with 100% certainty you have not experienced even a shred of what the world has to offer.

I’ve been doing that. Turns out, believe it or not, that is also nothing. Capital Nothing. I got really into perennial philosophy, finding universal Truths. I won’t delve into that, but essentially landed at a version non dualism which also is nothing. Read the Bible, read the Quran, Bhagavad Gita and a few others, Tao Te Ching. I read. I guess I could learn the guitar but I don’t really feel I need to do that. I suppose so. There isn’t anything left, genuinely. Turns out spirituality is also nothing when you go deep enough except you find out you’re nothing also.

I traveled before I was married, reading comprehension. I went to Southeast Asia for 4 months before I started college. Then winter breaks I’d go somewhere. I went to Norway Denmark and Amsterdam for 3 weeks 2019. 2020 I went to Peru for a month or so. 2023 I took her to Morocco for 2 weeks. Graduated college. I had money from some investments and then I made more with Gamestop. Sold and had decent savings. Pissed it all away though basically. I bought back in, that’s literally my only investment now. went into debt keeping us afloat after she got lupus. We were married a year, and her health insurance was $800 a month and she stopped working. Blew through all my savings between paying for the wedding, finishing out my student loans, keeping us afloat and etc. then about a year of that she was trans.
