I really liked Avril Lavgine. We have seen this time and again with celebrities: They make a little money and they develop a drug habit. They don't get hooked, but they wind up at least occasionally using drugs. They run out of money before they give up the habit and so they go looking for a discount and wind up buying tainted drugs.
What are the political implications of losing this outstanding artist and will we be able to hold the dealer who did this accountable? Will the Canadians be sufficiently demoralized that they might give up Alberta?
