/jp/ was made out of /a/ & various japanese websites
/int/ was created out of krautchan
/sp/ taken a bit from /b/
revived /pol/ takes from /b/ and from old /pol/
/pol/ & /int/ go about influencing each other for the next couple of years
then at 2013 /s4s/ was made as an unholy blend with considerable influences from /sp/, /jp/, /int/, /b/ and ylilauta
/jp/ trails off outside 4chan
/r9k/ get a whole load from reddit and passes it on to /pol/
/bant/ is then made as a mix of, as you said, [s4s], some /pol/ and a sprinkle of /int/
