You could always build a NAS and use it for long term storage. For games it's amazing. So long as you have high speed local storage on your machine you can just move over the files from the NAS when you want to play a certain game.
If you build it yourself using like TruNAS from an old machine with some expanded SATA ports it won't cost you very much.
