That steak is vacuum sealed though, and likely not acidic at all. That one is reason to worry if it was not properly refrigerated for more than an hour or so at any point (botulinum).

Most shit is no problem and if it is you can usually smell it or see it, but stuff in oxygen-free environments are is always worth being extra cautious.
