OP or someone else started posting Glegle in many boards over the course of a year or two, as did some other people. I believe OP particularly focused on /bant/
I liked Glegle a lot and that inspired me to make some custom software and a website for them called

And that essentially remains the status quo. Interestingly, despite spawning from /r9k/ Glegle is almost never posted there and often isn't even recognized as Glegle
