As edgelord as it may sound, I think there comes a point where you have to accept that you can't be the guiding light for all humanity, you can't be the ultimate messiah, but what you can do is focus on specific problems of society or discourse and work to improve them on a manageable, finite level.

Well think of it like a brick wall, now one brick is a simple prism right, simple shape, simple to make... not very useful. But if you stack them in the right formation you can build a wall, you can build the shell of a house.

But you're certainly right, if you want to kind of spread a popular/good message then you should first start with working on yourself, be the role model you'd like to see others strive to be.

Each "simple" message can be a brick. Now of course the thing you're up against is the mass media, the popular discourse. I think "altruistic demagogues" (if such a thing exists *tugs collar*) are the people who can harness the discourse and kind of make it build up to a different conclusion, a different message. Does that make sense?

As for the potential influence of a person, ya know I'm still working out if one person does have that much influence or if it's just the luck of how the dominoes fall (great man theory vs. determinism theory of history etc.)

The anger, I don't know how to explain. It happens frequently, but at various degrees. This one I told you it's because I'm really sad right now and have no way to release tension or any energies really. I usually calm down after a bit.

Oh I cry a lot. Sometimes in front of family as well, while we're eating, randomly. I'm just a human waste, and I realize that, but I thought I could be happy for once.

I've been thinking a lot about what you said desu think you hit the nail on the head. I am putting my self through all this shit, I need to focus on who i am, who i want to be and how i can become that. I need to focus my emery on achieving what I want from life. the way its going so far is not going to get me there.
I'm thinking should start with some hobbies imma sign up for a tai chi class and perhaps mma. I've been thinking an education wouldn't be a bad idea either.

I can't be more specific than this, because I don't care about anything else. Eventually kids and marriage. If you knew what loneliness feels like you'd understand. I lived as a hobo for weeks in England, and I did a lot of stuff I regret. I'm a nice guy, my heart is maybe too big for this world and I'm not even kidding. I like helping other people and making them feel good makes me feel even better

I could say money, or ability to go out and not feeling depressed, skills, whatever, but I'd be lying.

So I'm not quite able to form lasting relationships with people. Not sure why, but I can never quite care enough about them and their problems, and always feel I need to 1-up them. What's different about them? Or maybe even is there a way that you act around them, probably because of the familiarity, that influences that?

Also tell me more about these people who you don't care about, what's your impression of them as a whole (if there is a whole)? I mean I'm interested that you see this inability to form lasting relationships as a problem yet you only feel competitive towards most of them.

Well, the guy's almost as weird as me, and thinks in a similar way. I'm more into autistic levels of detail though. I think he puts up with my bullshit because I put up with his and we're both used to it by this point.

Perhaps I'd be better suited to answering that if I knew what it entailed, but I'd certainly appreciate having someone to talk to about my problems without judging, physical contact not actually necessary.

More or less see them as NPCs. If I don't see them they practically don't exist, while some have interesting stories I can't really bring myself to care.
Also, they're extremely unlikely to talk to me if I don't talk first, and when I do it generally feels like I have to put in unneeded effort into keeping the conversation going. So I just tend not to bother.

Anything, but usually only things relevant to whatever we seem to have in common. So I'll talk politics to those who have an interest, about studies (hurr durr suffering) to my classmates (Uni)

Pretty much. I don't really relate to them and it seems pretty obvious to me that the reverse is also the case.
