I reached 1000 unique kanji today. I can sort of read doujin manga and make sense of them, I have a decent vocabulary and it's getting bigger every day. In 2 months at best needing to learn tons of new kanji will be a long gone memory and I will fully focus on grammar and output. At the moment I just let context do the job for grammar but it's still working as I can recognize grammar patterns even though I only do grammar for 1-2 hours every other day.
