yeah...im still pissed about /gif/ though, because you could get away from that but after the 5 page nuke i dont even go there anymore because good threads dont stay long enough
it was also one of my fav boards...i had a very long filter list to hide most of the porn threads automatically :(

i made a "free will" thread there which got like 200 replies with images, it went very well
if you bump your own shit with gifs like 5-10 times, sometimes it'll get picked up
i agree the 5 page thing makes it more inhospitable though

same, it was one of my main boards since it got made but I'm visiting it less these days because of the endless slop.
posting tiktok on there should be a bannable offense. I guess you could argue that its always been full of reposts from short form platforms because of vine but vine was not anywhere near as cancerous.

i legit just said "post whatever you want, good luck", but then started it off with around 8-10 whimsical looking gifs, most without audio
it ended up going very well, there were a few people posting old vines & memes from 10-15 years ago
