Well, if he'd done nothing wrong, he woulda probably just been declared "not guilty" at one point and now he'd probably be at home posting with the bros at /u/.
French social critic, novelist, and political philosopher Voltaire once said:
>If God didn't exist, it would have been necessary to invent Him.
In this case, it makes a lot of sense, because even if Epstein had never emerged, there would have still been people who would have manipulated the masses. Perhaps it wouldn't have been /pol/ vs socialist subreddits. Perhaps it would just be massive, uncoordinated groups of right-wing groups full of Boomers on Facebook and YouTube vs massive, uncoordinated groups of milquetoast liberals on Discord and Telegram. Perhaps there might have been less mass shootings and less stuff like S o y jaks, but more regular political cartoons like we had back in the 1990s and more actual, relatively sane in-person debates that wouldn't end in people getting shot in public. Perhaps there would have been less debatebros like Ben Shapiro and Charlie Kirk, but also less people like Hasan Piker and Asmongold.
The truth is that there had been beach parties and old men inviting young women over to those parties since all the way back in the 1920s, during the days of Prohibition and the Jazz Age, but there wasn't so much, y'know, hyper-sexualization even in Weimar Germany. I believe if Epstein and 4chan in general had never emerged, we would've probably never seen Cancel culture and Gamergate emerge in response to nerds collecting pics of upskirts and sharing shitty pics of celebrities' faces with porn actresses' bodies Photoshopped below. I simply think that society would be much less obsessed with sex, but also with rape discourse if there hadn't been so many people online with 24/7 outlets for discussing sexsexsexpornsex like what /b/ turned into after the Fappening.
