If you were to become a sperm-donor, you could contribute to the human gene pool, thus preventing the extinction of the human species, and that would in no way be mutually incompatible with undergoing transition afterwards.
Therefore, any person with XY chromosomes could effectively fulfill the mandate to be fruitful and reproduce by becoming a sperm donor, and thus the only thing that would be needed would be an ovum and a surrogate womb to produce a child.
Once that child were born, you could raise that child as their mother so as to fulfill the duty of every parent to care for their offspring, thus fulfilling the chain of birth, growth, and reproduction that has been going on since roughly 2 billion years ago.
