Shaykh Muhammad bin Salih al-Uthaymeen Rahimahullaah said
إذا رأيت نفسك متحيراً فالزم الاستغفار، فإن الاستغفار مما يفتح الله به على العبد .
‘If you find yourself in confusion then adhere to seeking forgiveness. Indeed by seeking forgiveness, Allaah opens up the way for the slave.’
