>>23971577>who conditioned them to be that way?Themselves/their parents. I say that as a millennial who also did this, just I can remember a time before the internet so always have the context of "this is just online, it's not IRL". At least until AI starts to take over, what happens in the real world still matters more than the digital world. Don't get me wrong, you can ruin someone's IRL life using digital tools - but it's the IRL that actually matters (for now).
IDD older generations are continually screwing over the younger, so do something about it. If you don't know what you can possibly do, research it. Use the fact you're younger and more technologically adept to your advantage. Boomers don't know how to use the internet, let alone AI.
> if you want the birthrate to go up, maybe not have it so that a childbirth alone costs $70kTwo things:
1. your great-grandpas probably had 5 kids with poverty wages. Objectively it's not money that stops us mating. I'm not saying it's not hard/costly to give your children good lives, but it's worth it and you'll find a way.
2. they don't want the birthrates to go up. AI + robotics + automation = no need for human labour. Expect "eater" to start being used as a slur in coming years to refer to humans who are not just unemployed, but unemployable - when AI/robots get advanced enough, a certain growing % of the population simply won't be able to compete with the clankers.
