Holy fuck I don't mean to brag but I must admit I made enormous progress in just a month. I'm not just learning random words in Japanese, I'm also learning passively grammar while reading visual novels. I used to screencap every single line but now I'm gradually starting to understand without requiring a translation. One month ago I couldn't make sense of anything.

Every day for like 4-5 hours. Anki speeds up things but it only works if you try to memorize the words in chunks before creating decks. Once you know most kanji it gets easier to learn 50/60 words in a day.

I don't need to memorize that many you dumbfuck, 2k is enough to read most texts provided you know the pronunciations and the meanings. I'm learning grammar and syntax from context with X posts and visual novels. Sometimes I don't even need to memorize the grammar points because repeated exposure does it for me.

The big problem I have with bragging retards like yourself is that you often sell this false image that Japanese is just doable if you have the right method, that you can just become semi fluent in a year or whatever nonsense you believe.

Toddlers have only an advantage because they learn indirectly many words through spoken language acquisition.

That's only because I haven't made output my top priority. Once I feel confident enough with my grammar and vocab I'll go all out with my speaking and listening. A couple of months should suffice. Keep in mind I'm also recording and memorizing useful expressions I will use later.

This kind of attitude is why so many people are so mediocre at so many things.
The natives spend from childhood to adulthood using this language, reading, taking kanji exams throughout their education system. Then as they grow up they still struggle with knowing certain words and reading/writing kanji. Then some big retarded whito piggu gaijin says he can learn all of that in a few months using anki, twitter posts, visual novels and chatgpt.

Spaced repetition + seeing the words in context does the trick. I already do these with posts and visual novels.
