So anyway, another thing I wanted to get to, I encountered a black woman from France so she obviously wasn't a French native or anything, but she was visiting Canada on a visa she was talking about how much better it is then France and I was like "really? are you serious? Canada is shit fuck off" but no, it was almost like this gospel, these people were like religious fanatics, they were like "Canada is so great, Canada is so great, oh my lord halleluiah" But anyway, it made me feel conflicted because in my mind I always thought Europe must be pretty nice and I always wanted to visit there one day, especially France.
But I realized something, there's this Japanese guy I follow on youtube, and in general he was talking kind of badly about Japan, he was just saying it wasn't that great, and mainly he was just talking about how it's basically stuck in stagnation. And I think, it was the same as this black french girl and I've heard more people shit on their countries or whatever and I realized, I think what it is, is that these people are pretty much bitching that their countries aren't more industrious, or capitalist, and also that it's harder to make a lot of money. So I guess, these people spend all their time hating on America, but simultaneously envy America at the same time. Because it seems like, wow, that's what most people desire or want, a more prosperous economy. There's so much more to life that these people miss out on or can't even appreciate it's just like damn.
If I was in their shoes I wouldn't complain. Besides if you're really intent on making lots of money, their are possibilities and ways, but most of them would probably lead you to moving to America or something eventually.
But I guess that Japanese guy captured it perfectly, a lot of people right now feel like their countries are stagnating. But welcome to capitalism retards, I don't know what else to say.
