Does racist words change with geography?

I am an Indian so the most common racist words for me are "Pajeet", " Poopjeet " And " "shitjeet "

But last month I visited Australia and a white bearded man there called me "Hardeep" I turned my head in disbelief like he knew some other man called hardeep and he mistook me for him so I calmly replied " Sir I think you have mistaken me for somebody else I ain't a hardeep" and he laughed super loudly and left and not long after another white woman called me Hardeep then I realized the racist words are different there

And also one week ago a guy from UK called me pannjeet instead of pajeet while I was playing COD

He later became my friend and told me that they can't speak racist words without changing small things about them because their government actually listen and can put them in prison for it.
