When I was a kid I would always see this dumb fat orange cat to the side of my eye.
he always looked so real and I could only see a part of him, he was always at an arms reach and I would try to grab him but the second I would turn to see him he would dissapear and I always get so pissed.
stopped seeing him when I was like 6.
saw him in a dream today.
i was feeding him tuna.
that's about it.
still dont know what to make of this.

speaking of weird shit, when I was a kid/tween (up to around ~14) I used to have regular dreams of a different world
it was this absurdist place with always clear blue skies, golden fields, and really weird white-stone architecture composed mostly of white pillars and very thin detached walls/roofs/floors. there were also ancient byzantine-style (a la Zippori) ruins absolutely everywhere outside the main "settlement" in the middle.
there was a clear sea in all my dreams, and in most there was a tram going by the shoreline. I remember in one dream in particular I took the tram all the way to the south, as far south as possible, the tram tracks merged into one and it took me into this narrow lush canyon with neat rows of eucalyptus trees on either side. finally I emerged on the other side and it was a silent desert with america-style mesas as far as the eye can see.
Every now and then (one a year, maybe slightly more) I "catch glimpses" of this world. I'd see something very tiny and specific (e.g. a certain fence, some tree arrangement, some bushes/flowers) that instantly remind me of it.
I really wish I'd still be dreaming about that place.

I live up north in Ariana.
its nice here, we have amazing beaches and we have access to alot of commodities you wouldn't expect such a small country to have acess to.
our economy is generally ok by third world standards but its been rapidly deteriorating this year especially. things don't look too bright.
anyway, im from a higher middle class familly and we live a nice easy peaceful life.
I have access to goid dducation, im studyinf pharmaceuticals right now in hopes I open my iwn laboratory one of these days. or at least own a pharmacy.

Most of the places where forests though and the sky was always grey like it was about to rain, I mainly remember a path in a forest with some old barn like building in it that looked old and abandoned and a lot of dead trees where between the dense forest, I mustve had hundreds of dreams about this place but i dont remember what happened in even one of them, or this one small rectangular hut with the curved roof inbetween a really dense part of the forest, all I remember about this place is a ladder and something with a lighter but I absolutely cant remember. The place that I remember the most though is an open big green field that had a small angle with occassional ledges in the field, and some small kind of rock formations or ruins on the sides, similiar to stone henge, and the more darker than everywhere else forest down at the end of the field and surrounding it. I remember that the forest part there was dangerous and that behind it was the literal end of the world and youd be gone if you went too far
The thing about all those places I dreamed about was that, at some places I feel like the place from my dream was here
I had dreams like those almost everyday since I was 5 or so and they always felt very long, days and weeks passed in those dreams

I keep dreaming about doing mundane stuff in random locations, but there's this German Shepard that always accompanies me in them and is super loyal to me.
I don't know if this means that I'm destined to adopt one, but I simply know it can't be because I can't own more than two pets and I already have two cats.

no worries, nice to hear that. both my parents are tunisian and we used to go there every year, my entire family lives there. sadly I was never really able to visit the nicest places but the small city we live in is pretty nice too. just 15mins away from the beach. I hope your situation gets better any time soon (well it isn't gonna get better until you all get rid of that scum you have in your government yk). Good luck on your dreams man, I hope they'll come true one day!

I would also have these absurd dreams where there would actually be a story and massive world-building to it. And it's funny because I would have these dreams once and then years later I would dream of that same world just that the plot keeps on going. I can't remember what would happen but there were so many characters that were a mix of real world people and cartoons/anime, my favorite types of waifus and stuff.
Recently had one like a month ago and I woke up and was like woah deja vu
