Random semirelated story time:
>be me in 2018, neet looking for a job>find job position for some energy deregulation company>dont know what any of this is about, just want to make some money>first day of training, were going door to door reading this script about how switching to our energy company is cleaner and saves the customer money on their electric bill>something feels off about this whole thing, but i figure maybe its just cuz im not familiar with this kind of work>go home and do some digging on this company>the llc is headquartered in ukraine?>read articles about energy deregulation companies being a scam; customers actually paying more but were told itd be less>dont go back in to "work" the next dayAnd thats when i learned about ukranian scammers. Not to imply russian scammers dont exist, but this was just my only experience with ukranians. The ceo or whatever of the company had a jewish surname, so that probably had more to do with it than him being from ukraine. Thx for reading my blog
