>>24012544>>24012573in the 19th century, the most badass century, men cried a lot when something traumatic happened in their lives. going through wars, epidemics, mass displacements, high child mortality, people was not afraid to cry, even in public. strong emotions meant that a man had a strong inner life. not sure how and why it changed.
I am not talking about crying because your Nintendo DS broke or because your team lost a game, of course. that is for children. But if the mother of your children tells you she wants to leave I think it is human to express the sadness this way
