>>24029928There are simply no opportunities for a young person to be social these days. if you had the privilege to just be in the vicinity of people your own age for meaningful amounts of time on a regular basis, everything else would follow.
Couple that with the fact that it is universally looked down upon to talk to strangers in any context in which it is not literally forced, and you get all the devastating statistics about zoomers that you see online. This of course all goes away one an extended period of time has passed in each others' vicinity, but that rarely gets to happen.
Until then, anyone who tries to talk to someone unfamiliar is either:
A) a dangerous rapist
or
B) a gross autistic
I used to think I was autistic, until I realized that I wasn't the one who had social anxiety, trouble with eye contact, or "difficulty understanding social situations", that's just how everyone else is today. I feel like a normal person in a world full of autists.
>How do we fix this on a societal level?-The return of third spaces where its explicitly allowed or even encouraged to interact with people. (though going as far as to encourage it might seem tryhard and give normies the ick)
and
-Make people dependent on each other in the course of their everyday lives again like they were pre-1950's.
Also get the browns the fuck out of society because their shitty behavior and overall repulsiveness is what made people so skeptical of their fellow man in the first place.
