>>24049433>I just checked out that channel and there's some pretty absurdly fast stuff on it but its more the all over the place-ness that I was thinking would make it hard and it seems that stuff on there although some of it is even faster than anything on the mixtape I posted its a lot less wildly inconsistent.ye it used to be more about crazy patterns, but more about speed/endurance & accuracy now
for competitive maps anyway

that's a good representation of what newer competitive maps are like
you can see that part around 0:29 is an example of having to rapidly swing your arms across large distances
the FOV is greatly increased for ease of viewing, and the blocks made smaller, but those are long distances he's swinging his arms & it does get exhausting extremely quickly
good way to stay in shape if your joints can tolerate it though lole
>yeah those fuckers can move almost as fast as metal drummersye that's a good comparison
>what are they actually holding irl? just a vr controller?normally a controller, yeah, but different controllers have different weight distributions etc, and people have experimented with holding them different ways for beat saber specifically
picrel is what i always used
i think i remember there were other ssao tracks, now that i think about it? i might've played some of them, definitely not the one you linked though
it's not like you're forced to play competitive maps, but it is kind of annoying when a lot of the best mappers are focused on making maps which will be unplayable to most people
