I think they planned it together and the brother was supposed to be the one handling phase II with the car and explosives. This would make sense since the brother seemed to suddenly know about everything from the bump stocks all the way to the state of mind of Steve right before the attack after he originally said he hadn’t seen Steve in months.
I think the brother chickened our and bailed on Steve last minute. This explains why Steve had no intention of killing himself and ended up doing so. His getaway driver(brother) bailed on him.
Idk what but this brother is hiding something. I’ve seen 3 different body language experts analyze this guy’s interview and they all say overwhelmingly that he’s lying about most of what he says. He knows way more than he’s revealing.
I also could accept the alternate theory that Steve was carrying 3 rifles and a handgun at once while trying to move to the other room. He accidentally pulled the trigger and shot himself in the face. This would explain one rifle being under one leg, another rifle being over another leg and the handgun being so far away. If he was running with his hands full and accidentally pulled the trigger, I could see him landing in that fashion.
