So far, the only real correlation that can be observed is between homosexuality and hormone levels. I read a while ago that gays are more likely to have their index and middle fingers be nearly the same length (for both men and women). Obviously genes control finger length, but it's also controlled by hormones. I think going at the genetic angle is implying causation with a mere correlation.
