Yeah I had that problem too and it just scares people away. Using others to vent your frustrations is top level social inadequacy. Others want to see you to cheer themselves up, not to hear you complain, ffs.

The good thing is that once you fully understand and internalize this by caring about other's problems you find out dealing with others far more easier. It's like playing the social game in easy mode.

Of course it's easier said than done.

Before I say my main point, I want to clarify that it doesn't excuse whiny faggots being emotionally and physically weak. People will always value emotional robustness over weakness. However, it is entirely possible to talk about your problems to others and not be an emotional drain on them. Because that ultimately is what emotionally weak people do when they vent nonstop. They're putting their friends in a situation where they're forced to empathize when they may not be able to. One of these easiest solutions to this is asking your friend "does this ever happen to you?" And then explain some shit that happened to you. It both gives them a chance to contribute to the exchange, and it gives you the opportunity to vent without being a misanthropic pissbaby.
Ultimately though, our goal should be to achieve a level emotional robustness where we don't feel entitled to not having to experience hardship, and by extension aren't devastated by it because we already understand that it's an eventuality of life

I recently found my country is one of the few ones in Europe in which water fluoridation is still a thing.
