He also kinda lost sight of what the site was about as time went on, /jp/ was split from /a/ for stupid reasons, he let let mods out negligence run amok on /tg/ at one point despite it being his favorite board in 2007, and even though he changed /sp/ to "USA Crushing it" ad let the board in indulge in some US vs Euro bants after the curiosity rover lande, he had let the mods go on large scale bans of off-topic threads and "shitposting" the following year
