>>2471969Hello my dearest friend of the highly melinated persuasion!
After reading some Dubois this morning, I thought I would contrast the paradigm of Black intellectuals in Gilded Era American society to that of modern African prose and intellectual paradigms.
My, my! I was left astonished that regions that produced the most intellectually sound arguments and contentions of race and identity were former colonies of our oppressors.
I would love to hear your opinion further, but if I may opine myself, I believe that this cross cultural interplay allows the black intellectual to thrive in a society built on rationalist notions versus traditionalist tribal development.
Pray tell, what think you?
